Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Barael LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Done Chasing. There are two types of users covered by this policy: contractors who create accounts, and customers who receive follow-up messages from contractors using Done Chasing.
1. Information We Collect
From contractors: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, business address, and phone number. When you log an estimate, we store the customer name, phone number, email address (if provided), job type, estimate amount, and quote date you submit.
From customers: We receive your contact information from the contractor who submitted your estimate. This includes your name, phone number, and email address if you provided it to the contractor. We also store the content of any SMS replies you send in response to follow-up messages.
Automatically: We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, timestamps, and request metadata when you interact with Done Chasing’s web interface.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use contractor information to provide the Done Chasing service, send account-related communications, and improve the product.
We use customer information solely to send follow-up messages on behalf of the contractor who submitted your estimate. We do not use customer data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the follow-up sequence for your specific estimate.
3. SMS and Email Messaging
Customers receive SMS messages sent via Twilio and email messages sent via Resend on behalf of the contractor. Message frequency depends on your estimate status — typically 1 to 2 messages per estimate, sent on Day 3 and Day 7 after the estimate is submitted, if you have not yet responded.
To stop SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further SMS messages will be sent. To stop email messages, click the unsubscribe link in any email. Opt-outs are honored immediately and permanently.

4. Third-Party Services
Done Chasing uses the following third-party services to operate. Each service has its own privacy policy.
- Twilio — SMS delivery. Customer phone numbers and message content are transmitted to Twilio to send and receive SMS messages. Twilio Privacy Policy
- Resend — Email delivery. Customer email addresses and message content are transmitted to Resend to send follow-up emails. Resend Privacy Policy
- Supabase — Database and authentication. All account and quote data is stored in Supabase’s hosted Postgres database. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Vercel — Hosting and infrastructure. Done Chasing runs on Vercel’s platform. Vercel Privacy Policy
- Anthropic — AI processing. When a contractor submits an estimate via SMS, the message text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to extract structured data (name, phone, job type, amount). Message content is processed but not used to train Anthropic’s models under our current agreement. Anthropic Privacy Policy
We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. We retain quote and message data for up to 24 months after the quote is closed.
Contractors may request deletion of their account and associated data by emailing hello@donechasing.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that deletion of a contractor account does not automatically delete opt-out records, which we retain to honor suppression requests.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (TLS) for all data in transit. Data at rest is encrypted by Supabase. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. We use row-level security to ensure each contractor can only access their own data.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@donechasing.com.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

8. Children’s Privacy
Done Chasing is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify contractor account holders by email before the changes take effect. The updated effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
