Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Done Chasing, a service operated by Barael LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using Done Chasing, you agree to these terms.
1. What Done Chasing Does
Done Chasing is an automated follow-up service for skilled trades contractors. When a contractor logs a customer estimate, Done Chasing sends scheduled SMS and/or email follow-up messages to that customer on the contractor’s behalf. Follow-ups pause automatically when the customer replies. The contractor is notified and takes over from there.
2. Contractor Accounts
To use Done Chasing, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate business information, including your business name, address, and phone number.
You must not use Done Chasing to send messages to people who have not requested a quote from your business, to send spam or unsolicited marketing, or to impersonate another business.
3. SMS Messaging
Done Chasing sends SMS messages via Twilio on your behalf. By using this service, you agree that:
- You have a business relationship with each customer whose information you submit (i.e., they requested a quote from you).
- You will not submit phone numbers for people who have asked not to be contacted.
- You understand that message and data rates may apply to your customers.
- You will honor opt-out requests. When a customer replies STOP, all SMS messages for that customer stop immediately and permanently.
SMS messages are sent between 9am and 8pm in the customer’s local timezone. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Email Messaging
Done Chasing sends transactional follow-up emails via Resend when you enable email follow-up for a quote. Every outbound email includes your business address and an unsubscribe link, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. Customers who click unsubscribe will not receive further email follow-ups from Done Chasing on your behalf.
You must have a valid physical business address on file before email follow-ups can be sent. If your business address is not on file, email follow-ups will not send.
5. Free Trial and Billing
Done Chasing offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. Subscription pricing is listed on the Done Chasing pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Done Chasing to:
- Send messages unrelated to a valid estimate or quote you provided to the recipient.
- Harass, threaten, or deceive any person.
- Violate any applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or CAN-SPAM Act.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
Done Chasing and Barael LLC are not responsible for the quality of services provided by contractors who use this platform. We are not a party to any transaction between contractors and their customers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barael LLC’s total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or your use of Done Chasing shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Done Chasing is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will be delivered successfully. SMS and email delivery depend on third-party carriers and service providers outside our control.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Done Chasing after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
